Beautiful and delicious, my light and fluffy vanilla Glam Cake Slab is a unique gift for mum to make her feel special and thank her for all she does for you. Each Glam Cake Slab is beautifully boxed in a clear gift box with golden handles and adorned with a rose gold ribbon for an elegant finish.
Choose from 4 different colours. Each Glam Cake Slab is 6"x2" and can feed 1-4 people.
Our Glam Cake Slabs are best eaten at room temperature, which is when the sponge is moist and the buttercream melts in your mouth (HINT: If the buttercream is hard when you eat it, it's not yet at room temperature).
Please note that all our Glam Cake Slabs are buttercream Cake Slabs (unless otherwise specified) and are refrigerated overnight before delivery/collecton to ensure safe travel. Consequently, your Glam Cake Slabs may arrive rock hard (alas butter hardens when chilled) and may seem dry if you eat it immediately. Do not be alarmed! Simply leave it out of the fridge for 1-2 hours in warm weather or 3-4 hours in cooler months for it to return to room temperature before enjoying your delicious cake.

If you are in London, please enter your delivery address at checkout and the delivery charge will be calculated automatically. For delivery outside London, please email us at hello@goodcakeday.com for a delivery quote before placing your order.
Our Glam Cake Slabs are freshly baked to order.
We aim to deliver your Glam Cake Slab as early as possible within your chosen delivery window. One-hour delivery windows may be possible for an additional fee. Please email us at hello@goodcakeday.com to enquire.
If you cannot accept delivery please make alternative arrangements (e.g. leave with a neighbour) and let us know at least 24 hours before the delivery date.
Please note that if you collect your Glam Cake Slab, it becomes your responsibility from the moment they are handed to you. We will not accept liability for any damage that occurs in transit. If we deliver your Glam Cake Slab, it remains our responsibility until it is handed over to you or left at the agreed safe location of your choosing. We will not accept liability for any damage that occurs once delivery is completed. For the avoidance of doubt, delivery is completed once the cupcakes are handed to you.
Glam Cake Slab care
'Our Glam Cake Slabs never contain any gelatin or preservatives unless stated'
Cake Slabs are best eaten on the day of delivery at room temperature so there is no need to store your Glam Cake Slab in the fridge. Leave them in the box they are delivered in until you are ready to eat or display them.
Never place your Glam Cake Slab in direct sunlight, like any human in the heat they will get hot & bothered and start to melt 🙃.
To preserve any leftover Glam Cake Slab; put it in an airtight container with a slice or 2 of white bread and eat it within 3 days - refresh the bread (if needed) as it dries out. Our Glam Cake Slab can be frozen for up to 3 months for longer preservation. Thaw out overnight in the fridge and eat within 2-3 days. Don’t forget to place your Glam Cake Slab in an airtight container with a slice of white bread to retain moisture.
Returns
Our Glam Cake Slabs are baked to order and perishable therefore we cannot accept returns. If something is wrong, it needs to be reported within 24 hours of delivery and not after. We cannot take responsibility for anything reported after.
At the point of delivery please check you are satisfied with your Glam Cake Slab – if there are any problems at this point the driver should be made aware and can notify the kitchen so we make rectify the problem if possible.
