Starlight Blogger Award

Whoopee!!!!! My first blog award!!!! It’s all happening people. Soooo excited (as you can probably tell 😉 )

The gorgeous and talented Hannah of Love the Little Bakery nominated me for the Starlight Blogger Award. Her blog is amazing!!! I enjoy reading her posts as they’re full of inspiring bakes from cupcakes to homemade granola bars!!! But hey don’t just take my word for it… check it out for yourselves 🙂 As a new blogger her nomination means a lot to me so thank you! thank you! thank you! Hannah. Much appreciated!!!!

Here’s the award…

The Award is created to highlight and promote Inspiring Bloggers and I feel so honoured to be nominated. I’m literally giddy with joy 🙂 The rules are simple and as follows:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their blog.

  2. Answer the 3 questions they’ve asked you.

  3. Pass the award on to 6 or more other bloggers & let them know you have nominated them.

  4. Give your nominees three new questions to answer.

  5. Include the logo of the award in a post or on your blog.

Here are my answers to Hannah’s questions:

  1. What inspired you to start blogging?

I’ve toyed with the idea for years and started more blogs than I care to mention but never quite got them off the ground. The inspiration to blog about baking came from a decision to taking baking seriously and document my progress. I also want my cakes to be good in the sense of doing good (more on that in the future 😉 ) and so a blog seemed like a good platform to promote that and encourage others to do the same (again more on that to come in the future).

2. If you have traveled, what was your favorite place to visit? If you haven’t travelled, where do you want to go?

Ooooooohhhhhh!!!! the Lake District (technically not traveling in the sense of outside England but as a Nigerian anywhere outside Nigeria is travelling for me 😉 ) has got to be my favourite place. It was so peaceful and the seaside is so amazing. The people were sooo friendly and the mom and pops shops are to die for.

3. What exciting things are you working on at the moment and will they feature on your blog?

Loads loads loads. I’m working on the “good” side of Good Cake Day and will working on some exciting partnerships which will be featured on the blog. I also have a few cake orders coming up and will be trying out some new recipes such as cheesecakes (never made these before) so it’s a pretty exciting future for the blog. Watch this space folks!!!

Now for MY nominees (ohhh this is exciting!!!):

  1. Jennifer of Shughar

  2. Dilora of He likes to write

  3. Karen and Kristy of Pretty in Gingham

  4. Renee of Sweet Revelations

  5. Emma of Crumbs and Tea

  6. Kelly of Food to glow

I hope you will all participate, and I look forward to reading your answers.

And my questions for my nominees:

  1. What’s your most favourite thing about blogging?

  2. If you could do anything in the world (other than what you currently do) what would it be?

  3. What’s the strangest meal you’ve ever eaten?

Once again, many thanks again to Hannah for nominating me 🙂 Such an honour!

Until next time… Have a Good Cake Day!!!
