Introducing The Aurelia — a wedding cake of such quiet, breathtaking beauty that it stops time. An ode to the romance of bridal couture — where the softness of flowing fabric, the intricacy of fine lace, and the luminosity of pearls come together in the most exquisite edible creation.

This is the cake for the bride whose style is refined, considered, and deeply romantic — the bride who knows that true elegance never shouts.

Available as a two-tier or three-tier cake, both featuring a statement double barrel base tier for maximum presence and grace.

The double barrel base tier is dramatically adorned with cascading hand-crafted wafer paper panels in the softest ivory — each tissue-fine layer draped and folded to evoke the fluid movement of the most exquisite bridal gown. Beneath the flowing panels, delicate hand-applied lace detailing is revealed — intricate, romantic, and utterly beautiful.

The three-tier version features an additional middle tier enveloped in the same breathtaking lace motif — more of it beautifully visible here, wrapping the tier in a continuous pattern of extraordinary delicacy. The top tier on both versions rises in smooth, softly textured ivory buttercream, adorned with the same delicate lace motif and a graceful vertical cascade of lustrous sugar pearls — a refined, couture finishing touch that ties the entire design together with effortless elegance.

Please note that wedding cake orders require a minimum of 2 weeks' notice. We recommend ordering as early as possible to secure your date, particularly during peak wedding season.

Our cakes are prepared in a kitchen that handles wheat (gluten), eggs, milk, dairy, soya, nuts, and peanuts. Whilst every precaution is taken to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee the absence of traces.

Two Tier

• Bottom tier (double barrel) — 6 layers of sponge and filling
• Top tier — 4 layers of sponge and filling

Three Tier

• Bottom tier (double barrel) — 6 layers of sponge and filling
• Middle tier — 4 layers of sponge and filling
• Top tier — 4 layers of sponge and filling

A standard serving measures 7" x 1.4" across 4 layers; a smaller serving measures 3" x 1.4" across 2 layers. Please refer to the infographic below for a clear visual guide.

The Aurelia can be customised in a range of colour palettes to suit your wedding day theme — perhaps the softest blush and ivory for a deeply romantic feel, warm champagne and cream, or crisp white for a more contemporary bridal look. If you'd like to add a personalised topper or bespoke detailing to complement your wedding theme, simply pop your request in the Special Requests box at checkout. Please note that customisations may incur an additional cost, which will be confirmed and billed separately if applicable.

Delivery Options

We offer premium cake delivery across London and within the M25:

Doorstep Delivery — your cake is carefully transported and delivered to your door, beautifully presented and ready for your celebration

Premium Set-Up Service — for an additional £50, our team will transport and position your cake precisely where you need it, whether that's your wedding venue, event space, or home

Cake Care

Our cakes never contain any gelatine or preservatives unless stated. As wedding cakes are often on display for several hours before cutting, we recommend the following to keep your cake looking and tasting its best:

• Display your cake in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight at all times
• Where possible, aim to cut the cake within 4 hours of display — particularly important during the summer months
• If displaying during summer, we strongly recommend keeping the cake indoors in an air-conditioned room
• Avoid placing your cake near heat sources, open windows, or in direct sun, as this can cause the buttercream to soften and decorations to shift

Your cake will keep fresh for up to 3 days from delivery when stored correctly.

Your cake will come with our illustrated cake-cutting guide showing you how to cut a tall cake. 

To preserve any leftover cake; place in an airtight container with a slice or 2 of white bread and eat it within a week or 2 - refresh the bread as it dries out. For longer preservation, our cakes can be frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw out overnight in the fridge and ear within 2-3 days. Don’t forget to place the cake in an airtight container with a slice of white bread. Alternatively, wrap your cake with cling film/foil and place it in the fridge. 

Returns

Our cakes are lovingly baked to order and cannot be returned unless there is a fault with the product. Any concerns must be raised at the point of delivery so our driver can assist. We are unable to accept responsibility for issues reported after delivery. Where a refund is applicable, the full item must be returned as required by law. Please inspect your cake carefully upon receipt to ensure you are completely satisfied.
